U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Khary Davis assumes command of the 509th Civil Engineer Squadron and receives the ceremonial guidon from U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Christopher Schlak, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, June 8, 2023. The 509th CES provides engineering, alterations and new construction, fire protection, disaster response and explosive ordnance disposal services.
