509th LRS receives new commander

How does the squadron contribute to the Air Force mission? The squadron is dedicated to meeting the transportation, supply, equipment, and fuel requirements of the 509th Bomb Wing and its tenant partners on Whiteman. This includes the time-sensitive transportation of personnel, household goods, aircraft components and general purpose cargo while also providing primary supply, equipment and fuels support to B-2, A-10 and T-38 aircraft. Also, the squadron oversees the installation deployment operation which plans and implements the wing's wartime deployments.
