Military benefits briefing scheduled Published Sept. 4, 2007 Information courtesy of Missouri Army National Guard CLINTON, Mo. -- The Missouri National Guard will be hosting a benefits briefing for area veterans, Soldiers, military retirees and family members. The presentation will feature several federal and state agency representatives. The event is designed to inform and educate those in attendance on the wide variety of entitled benefits that are available. The briefing, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 8:30 a.m., and will last until noon Sept. 8, at the Missouri National Guard Armory at 810 Marigold, Clinton, Mo. Representatives will be available from the following agencies: Missouri National Guard (Transition Assistance Advisor), Missouri National Guard Education Office, the Vet Center, TRICARE medical, TRICARE Dental, Missouri Career Center, Missouri Department of Conservation, Military OneSource, Missouri 529 College Savings Plan, the Department of Veterans Affairs and Veteran Affairs Health Benefits. Members of the media, Soldiers and the general public are encouraged to attend.
