Air Combat Command's Library Program Research Center provides access to a world of information at an Air Force Portal user's finger tips.

The center provides a multitude of online databases and resources such as national and international newspaper and wire services, current events, news alerts, reference works and many others.

"This allows Air Force Portal users to access technical reference works, newspapers, journal articles, analysis or reports at their desktop," Dennis Wilson, library director said. "This is crucial because the library may not always be able to carry the hard copies and by creating the ACC Library Program Research Center on the AF Portal, this enables users to access information/resources at their work location."

The center also provides users with access to Air Force mission assets, ACC mission assets, Air Force educational material and quality of life assets.

How to use ACC's Library Program Research Center:

Step 1: Log in to AF Portal. On the AF Portal Home Page, select Functional Areas A-Z Listing on the right side of the page under Air Force Indexes.

Step 2: Under the "A" section, select the fourth item on the list...ACC Library Program Research Center.

Step 3: Welcome to the ACC Library Program Research Center. This page provides a multitude of online databases/resources with access to a wide array of resources:
