Chief's comments: "Lieutenant Heacock has and continues to impress me daily. As a young officer he is eager to learn and be active in both day-to-day issues and long term planning. Specifically he has tackled several challenging issues. He is the MXG lead on planning and organizing all maintenance and logistics aspects of a FOL exercise later this year. He has found ways to balance exercise requirements and mission support requirements. Lieutenant Heacock is also tackling an on-going issue with aircraft generations. He is conducting research on oil "overservicing" and what can be done to prevent that. The results of his investigation and follow-on corrective actions will improve on-time launch rates."
