Defenders show how it's done
Columbia, Mo. – Airmen 1st Class Gabe Lara and Jared Leichty, 509th Security Forces Squadron, recently competed in the 2008 Show-Me State Games Power-Lifting Competition. Within their classes Airman Lara came in first place and Airman Leichty came in second place. During the competition Airman Leichty bench pressed 355 pounds and Airman Lara bench pressed 305 pounds. The competition is a very strict competition. The bar must lay motionless on the chest for three seconds before you complete the lift. Movement of head, shoulder, butt or feet is a disqualification.
