Tops in Blue to perform Deja Blue

Get ready for a fantastic night of entertainment. Tops in Blue, the premiere entertainment showcase for the Air Force will perform at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, Mo., Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. 

The highly acclaimed 2008 edition of Tops in Blue is entitled "Deja Blue." Tops in Blue celebrates 55 years as the Air Force's "Expeditionary Entertainers" by presenting a fun-filled, action-packed performance showcasing musical hits with their own special spin. The 2008 Tops in Blue team is entertaining worldwide audiences with music and fun for the entire family. 

"We look forward to Tops in Blue every year," said Meladee Bay, 509th Force Support Squadron, Airman and Family Services flight chief. "Their performances are always extravagant and they never disappoint." 

"Tops in Blue is the Air Force's premier entertainment showcase," said Tom Edwards, show producer and chief of Air Force Entertainment. The team is a reflection of the "best of the best" performers throughout the Air Force. 

This year, Tops in Blue continues its long-standing tradition of "family entertaining family" by showing what has made tops in Blue a "must-see" event every year for over half a century. This year's show includes Latin sounds, All-American country music and hits from the top of the charts. 

Tops in Blue tours all Air Force bases throughout the United States and more than 25 foreign countries. Their tour schedule spans more than 120 locations and also includes entertaining forward-deployed troops in various locations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.
