ALS graduates future NCOs Published May 28, 2009 By Whiteman Airman Leadership School WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Twenty-five Airmen, Class 09-E, have taken the first step in their career as future supervisors by graduating from the Whiteman Airman Leadership School May 21. Recipient of the Levitow Honor Graduate Award, named after Sgt. John L. Levitow, Medal of Honor recipient, is Senior Airman Niall Campos, 509th Civil Engineer Squadron. The Levitow award is presented to the top professional military education graduates from Airman Leadership Schools. Distinguished Graduates are: Senior Airmen Samuel Kovacic, Jr., 509th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and Michelle Salyer, 509th Operations Support Squadron Senior Airman Matthew Atkinson, 509th Security Forces Squadron, is the recipient of the Academic Achievement Award.
