OSC to roll out red carpet Published April 27, 2011 By Heidi Hunt 509th Bomb WIng Public Affairs WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- The Whiteman Officers' Spouses' Club is holding their last social before the summer at 6:30 p.m., May 12 at the Montserrat Vineyards and invites all Team Whiteman officers' spouses' to join. "It is a chance to meet other spouses, eat good food and have lots of fun," said Chris Templin, OSC member and publicity coordinator. "You will be able to sign up and join next year's group, and if you do, you might just win a wonderful gift." The Whiteman OSC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to organize and sponsor educational, charitable and social activities. The goal is to provide information of interest to the members and to foster the ideals of charity and fellowship. The group meets once a month for socials and members have the opportunity to join clubs within the OSC for those who have personal interests. "Members can join the gourmet club, wine club and arts & crafts club; to name a few," she said. "You can even spearhead your own club." Anastasia Radloff, OSC member, organized her own club, the OSC paper craft club and said she enjoys sharing her unique stamping and scrapbooking creativity with others. "Sharing my passion gives me an opportunity to do what I love while having a good time with other military spouses," Mrs. Radloff said. Mrs. Templin encourages Team Whiteman Officers' Spouses to come out and join and see what we're all about. "We hope to see you there!" Mrs. Templin concluded.
