Officials increase FPCON Published May 9, 2011 By 509th Bomb Wing Public Affairs WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Officials have increased security measures for Whiteman AFB, taking the Force Protection level to Bravo. People should expect traffic delays entering the installation as well as at some facilities. Residents and employees should remain vigilant in maintaining the security of the installations. If someone notices anyone or anything suspicious on Whiteman they should call the 509th Security Forces Squadron at (660) 687-3700 or the Office of Special Investigations here at (660) 687-1852. As conditions change, updates will be made available.
