Senior Airman Sukh Bhandari, an aerospace ground equipment journeyman of the 509th Maintenance Squadron, stands with the squadron’s deployment flag at Mount Everest South Base Camp May 20, 2017. This base camp is located at an altitude of approximately 17,500 feet in Nepal. Along with Bhandari, Airman 1st Class Anish Chauhan and Senior Airman Shane Hoag, both water and fuel systems management journeymen of the 509th Civil Engineer Squadron, made the hike as well.
