Check up time

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Master Sgt. Julie Ingison, 509th Medical Group Dental Clinic technician, hand crafts a crown for a molar by slowly grinding down the edges with the dental drill Dec. 15. Sergeant Ingison crafts each crown to fit the shape of the old tooth to ensure an exact fit. The dental clinic averages six crowns per month and each crown can take between eight and 36 hours to create. The dental clinic also creates a multitude of other oral devices including dentures.
