A water tower makeover
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – Paint Platoon paints Whiteman’s water tower June 9. Paint Platoon put two layers of paint on the water tower, one to prevent rust and one to protect the underlying layer from the elements as well as give it a shiny look. Paint Platoon also painted the Air Force Symbol with the words “Air Force” beside it measuring 11 by 34. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Stephen Linch)
