Strumming toward a record
Left to right: Carmelita Smith, daughter of Senior Master Sgt. Steve Smith 442nd Fighter Wing, James Sheppard, son of or Rob Sheppard 509th Civil Engineer Squadron, Sergeant Smith and Christara Smith, daughter of Sergeant Smith, took part in the 99.7 KYYS rock station’s effort to break a Guinness world record June 3 at America Ballpark in Kansas City. The event, which had more than 4,000 people in attendance, broke a record of the most guitar players playing the same song at the same time.
