March of Dimes Hits Home

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Lauren Mahaney, daughter of Senior Airman Richard Mahaney, wearing her March of Dimes t-shirt helps hand out pizza to her 5th grade class, Oct. 6. Laurens class helped raise $178.82 in support of March of Dimes earning them a pizza party for their class. Overall Whiteman Elementary School Raised $947.96 towards March of Dimes. Trey Mahaney, Lauren's little brother, passed away of a heart condition last January and supporting March of Dimes is a way for the Mahaney Family to raise awarenss about the health of babies, preventing birth defects, pre-mature birth and infant mortality.
