WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - The Whiteman Heritage Foundation is restoring this World War II-era CG-4A troop/cargo glider to be displayed at Whiteman. The Whiteman Heritage Foundation’s mission is to educate local, state and national population of the valuable role Whiteman has played in history and to preserve and display artifacts and photos relating to the history of Whiteman.
