Who needs shipyards?
Staff Sgt. David Andrews, 393rd EBS combat crew communications specialist, begins taping the tapered bow of what eventually will become the USS Fat Chance. Fat Chance was entered in the Team Andersen Challenge cardboard boat race and finished third. It was the only vessel to have a hull completely ensconced in duct tape. Sergeant Andrews doesn’t recall exactly how much length of tape he used, but did say it “was about $15 worth.” (Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson)
