Lt Gen James Kowalski's Spirit Flight
WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Lt. Gen. James M. Kowalski, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, received an orientation flight in a B-2 Spirit here July 18. Brig. Gen. Scott Vander Hamm, 509th Bomb Wing commander, said the general would leave Whiteman with "personal experience in the B-2 bomber, joining a small group of pilots who have spent time in the air with this amazing aircraft."
