Q. What kind of ID do I need to bring?
A. All guests ages 18 and over are required to have one form of government issued photo ID that is current (i.e. not expired). Accepted IDs are any local, state, or federal issued identification cards with your photograph (eg.: driver’s licenses or passports). Identification is encouraged, though not required, for anyone between the ages of 16 and 18. Although this is an open house event, safety and security are our top priority. We reserve the right to search all hand-carried items, personnel, and vehicles that have entered the installation.
Q. How much are tickets?
A. The event is free. No tickets required.
Q. How much is parking?
A. Parking is free.
Q. Will there be handicapped parking?
A. Yes, handicap parking will be located adjacent to the airshow entry control points. Please ensure either your license plate handicap placard or rear-view windshield handicap placard is clearly visible when entering the installation and a parking attendant will direct you to a handicap parking lot. Additionally, there will be shuttles from the North parking area to the show area.
Q. Will there be RV/camper parking?
A. Unfortunately, due to security and parking limitations, RV/camper parking cannot be accommodated on the installation during Wings Over Whiteman 2024. The Knob Noster State Park located just outside Whiteman AFB offers basic and electric campsites, family campsites, organized group camps, and special-use camping areas. For more information or to make a reservation at Knob Noster State Park, please visit https://mostateparks.com/campgrounds/knob-noster-state-park or call 877-422-6766. Should you choose to park your RV/camper at Knob Noster State Park please ensure you arrange your own transportation to Whiteman AFB, as there will not be shuttles to/from the park.
Q. What can I bring inside the spectator area?
A. Folding lawn chairs, strollers and pull-along wagons, purses and fanny packs, medical bags, diaper bags, and camera bags, clear beverages in see-through containers, cameras, camcorders, cell phones, and wheelchairs.
Q. What does the ground show entail? A. More static displays of smaller and older aircraft, vendors, and more!
Q. Can I fly to the airshow in my General Aviation plane and park on the flight line? A. No. All guest must go through the designated base gates.
Q. Are Saturday and Sunday the same show? A. There will be minor differences, but the majority of the show will be similar.
