Wings Over Whiteman 2019 FAQ

The 2019 Wings Over Whiteman Air and Space Show and Open House is 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 15 and 16 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Admittance and parking are free.

This year’s show includes the F-22s, the A-10s and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, along with Whiteman AFB’s B-2 Stealth bomber – celebrating its 30th year in flight. Additionally, there will be dozens of aircraft static displays, vintage and modern war birds, the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America band, vendors, a kids’ area and much more.

Planning to attend? Here are some frequently asked questions:

Q. What kind of ID do I need to bring?
A. All guests are encouraged to bring one form of ID with them. Although this is an open house event, safety and security are our top priority. We reserve the right to change this at any time; follow our Facebook page for the latest updates. All hand-carried items are subject to search, for your protection.

Q. Will there be handicapped parking?
A. Yes. Additionally, there will be shuttles from the parking area to the show area.

Q. Can I fly to the airshow in my general aviation plane and park on the flight line?
A. No. All guests must go through the designated gates at Whiteman Air Force Base.

Q. Will there be RV/camper parking?
A. There is no RV/camper parking on Whiteman Air Force Base. The nearby Knob Noster State Park offers basic and electric campsites, family campsites, two organized group camps and special-use camping areas. Q. Are the shows on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 the same?
A. There will be minor differences, but the majority of the shows will be similar.

Q. Who is performing when? Will there be a schedule?
A. Due to the flexibility required for aircraft flying and inevitable last-minutes changes, a schedule is not released to the public.

Q. What does the ground show entail?
A. Static displays of smaller and older aircraft, cars, vendors, and more!
