Running toward success

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - Members of the 509th Security Forces Squadron, Brig. Gen. Greg Biscone, 509th Bomb Wing commander and Chief Master Sgt. Brian Hornback, 509th Bomb Wing command chief, run in formation to the Spirit Gate to move the squadron's B-2 magnet on the Spirit Challenge Honor Roll board to the 12-month mark at 3:45 a.m. June 24. Despite having 70 percent of its work force under 24, the 509th SFS was officially DUI free for a year. “This isn’t about us, the leaders, it’s about the Airmen taking care of each other and doing what is right,…being good wingmen” said Lt. Col. Craig Allton, 509th SFS commander. “They really make me proud.” (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Stephen Linch)
