Can you see me now?

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. - The "Spirit of Florida" sits in the hanger undergoing low observable maintenance, Oct 6. The LO shop works on everything from structures to the painting of the aircraft in repairs, resulting in a very extensive knowledge of the B-2. LO Airmen go through a two year vigorous training to even become fluent with an airframe and then begin to practice everything they have learned in their training. As part of the Total Force Integration with the 131st Bomb Wing, the LO shop of the 131st will have full-time Airmen working with the B-2 right alongside the 509th Airmen. This integration involves the retraining of the 131st LO Airmen, into the world of the B-2, to where they will be just as efficient as the 509th.
