Happy Birthday Big Blue

Members of Team Whiteman gather to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the U.S. Air Force at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., Sept. 15, 2018. During the annual Air Force Ball, guests had the opportunity to hear from U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Garrett Harencak, the Commander of Air Force Recruiting Service, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Attendees also witnessed the cake cutting ceremony with both the highest-ranking Airman and the lowest-ranking Airman, in addition to watching the Honor Guard render the colors and perform a POW/MIA table ceremony. A B-2 Spirit served as a backdrop to the event and guests were afforded the opportunity to take their photo in front of the stealth bomber.
