CAMP MINDEN, La. - Airman First Class Cody Scantland, 509th Security Forces Squadron, assembles a M4 Rifle during the weapons assembly phase of the mental and physical challenge for the second annual Global Strike Challenge at Camp Minden, La., Nov. 7. The competition includes security forces along with missile and bomber forces from Air Force Global Strike Command. The teams have the opportunity to participate in innovative thinking, teamwork and esprit de corps that are central to the GSC mission. The score-posting event will be held Nov. 8-9 and will reveal the winners of The Best Missile and Bomber Wing of Air Force Global Strike Command.
