In conjunction with their annual back to school sale, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is partnering with Mead to give military shoppers a chance to win one of nine iPod Nanos.

From July 13-Aug. 30, troops and their families can fill out an entry form at their local base exchange for the opportunity to win a super slim 2GB iPod Nano.

"Some military shoppers will definitely be singing a happy song when they win a free iPod," said Richard Sheff, AAFES' chief marketing officer.

"In addition to year-round tax-free shopping, this sweepstakes is yet another reason for troops to exercise their exchange benefit when it's time to shop for back to school."

Nine 2GB iPod Nanos, each capable of holding up to 500 songs, will be given away, with three winners in CONUS, Europe and the Pacific. No purchase is necessary and the exclusive "military only" drawing will take place on or about Sept. 21.
