Whiteman Airman dies

A Whiteman Air Force Base Airman died last night, Oct. 1, 2018.

The Airman was assigned to the 509th Security Forces Squadron at Whiteman AFB, Mo.

“Together, we are grieving the loss of a fellow Airman, a valued member of Team Whiteman and a friend" said Col. Seth Graham, 509th Bomb Wing vice commander. "We extend our condolences to his family, his friends, and his squadron. He was an important contributor to the mission and our community; he will be sorely missed.”

Local law enforcement officials, including Air Force authorities, are currently investigating the incident. The name of the deceased Airman will not be provided until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
