WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- Staff Sgt. Chad Taylor, an Airman assigned to the 509th Security Forces Squadron, was found dead on base Tuesday, Oct. 23, at approximately 1 p.m.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of a valued Airman and teammate. All of Team Whiteman stands with Staff Sgt. Taylor’s grieving family, friends, and fellow Defenders; we are here to support in any way we can,” said Brig. Gen. John J. Nichols, 509th Bomb Wing commander. “Task Force True North and our helping agencies are here for any Airman or Air Force family member who needs support.”
The incident is currently under investigation by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
Team Whiteman Airmen and their families are not in danger.
