Made for good fortune

Members of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Association host an origami event for youth during Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., May 10, 2017. The youth learned how to fold origami frogs, which is a symbol in Japanese culture for good fortune and it is often carried during travel to ensure the individual returns home safely.
