November is National American Indian Heritage Month

The month of November is National American Indian Heritage Month. The 2009 theme is Understanding Native American Heritage Now and Then. Native Americans Have enriched our heritage and added to all aspects of our society. Our country is fortunate to have their character and strength. We recognize and are especially grateful for the generations of Native Americans who have answered the call to defend our country. During this month, let all of us honor The Native American people and recognize them for strengthening the inclusiveness of our society. -- Jerald A.S.
