WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. -- The 509th Bomb Wing recently underwent a Unit Compliance Inspection April 26 through May 1.

During the UCI, the bomb wing was graded on numerous areas of interest. Such areas include commander's items, training and program management.

"I'm very proud of all the Airmen of the 509th," said Col. Robert Wheeler, 509th Bomb WIng commander, "Your overall performance in this inspection was outstanding. With an average of less than 3 percent Do Not Complies, we have shown our continued trend of performance. Keep the 509th bar high!"

Throughout the inspection, the Air Combat Command Inspector General Team identified 18 Superior Performance Teams and 116 Superior Performers. They are:
